Every winter on the North Carolina coast, hundreds of tundra swans migrate through. My husband and I travelled to witness this beautiful (and noisy) swan migration, and I managed to snap a picture of a swan in a gorgeous pose. That photo became the inspiration for this painting and the subsequent prints.
