When I visited Petrified Forest National park, stepping down into the Blue Mesas was like stepping onto a different planet. Knowing that the delicate blue and purple hues wrapping around the mesas were from another time added to the whole surreal experience. This was by far my favorite natural area in Arizona. I’m hoping to visit again one day and make more drawings!
